BAL Laboratory, a division of Thielsch Engineering, Inc., provides testing services related to environmental and public health microbiology, including both conventional and unique, state-of-the-art approaches for monitoring and assessing microbial contamination problems.

We are a full-service microbiology laboratory with a staff dedicated to the customer and their individual needs. The BAL Laboratory staff, with a combined experience of over 25 years, offers expertise in many areas of microbiological testing.

We are certified in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for potable and non-potable water.
